Get a free year of Student DashPass
Right now, through to October 12 2026, DoorDash is running Free Student DashPass.
All you need to do is sign up for DashPass before the date above, and you get a full year of DashPass at $0/month, verified through SheerID with your name, school, date of birth, and .edu email. It's open to new members only, in the US and Canada.
Missed the window? Student DashPass is still available year-round at half the regular price — $4.99/month or $48/year instead of $9.99/month or $96/year — you'll just need to re-verify your student status each year.
What you actually get with DashPass
Either plan gets you $0 delivery fees on eligible orders, a lower service fee than non-members pay, 5% DoorDash credit back on pickup orders, and access to member-only deals that pop up throughout the year.
Already have a Chase card? Check for a free membership
Chase Freedom and Slate cardholders can get DashPass free for six months by activating the offer and setting their Chase card as their default DoorDash payment method — worth checking even if you're already covered by the student plan, in case it's a better fit once your student status lapses.
