Don't stress. Start typing the full name of your institution into the search bar on the verification page (full name, not the acronym: "University of Edinburgh" rather than "UoE"). It should pop up as you type.
If it still doesn't show, look for the "Can't find your institution?" option at the bottom. You can add it manually and verify your student status another way, like uploading proof of enrolment. No one gets left out.
